About the role
The client, a financial industry organisation based in Port Elizabeth, is looking for an experienced Tax Consultant to join their team. The role focuses on delivering accurate tax compliance services and supporting both internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Manage tax compliance matters and ensure timely submissions.
- Monitor deadlines, maintain accurate tax records and documentation.
- Communicate professionally with clients and the South African Revenue Service (SARS).
- Organise departmental workflows and follow‑up processes to guarantee efficiency.
- Ensure all tax matters are handled accurately and in line with legislation.
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
- Relevant degree or diploma in a related field.
- Proven experience in a tax consulting environment.
- Strong knowledge of South African tax legislation and processes.
