Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

The Supply Chain Coordinator provides administrative support for the Independent Power Producer Office (IPPO) and assists the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) in achieving its procurement objectives. This position ensures compliance with strategy, policies, and procedures across the end‑to‑end supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer supply chain processes from requisition processing to contract management.
• Support procurement activities to meet DBSA and IPP Office targets.
• Maintain accurate and high‑quality reporting for all supply chain transactions.
• Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and strategic guidelines.
• Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers, emphasizing customer centricity.

Required profile

• Strong focus on customer centricity and self‑management.
• Excellent administrative and organisational abilities.
• Ability to produce detailed and accurate reports.
• Commitment to a long‑term fixed‑term contract until March 2031.
