Social Media Content Producer

About the role

The Social Media Content Producer will transform podcast episodes into engaging short‑form video clips and written posts for platforms such as TikTok, Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn and X. The role blends creative storytelling with technical video editing to maximise audience reach.

Key responsibilities

• Create weekly content packages by repurposing podcast recordings.
• Produce 6‑10 vertical short‑form video clips each week.
• Write compelling captions, hooks and posts tailored to each platform.
• Adapt content for TikTok, Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn and X.
• Generate quote graphics, discussion prompts and other short‑form ideas from podcast highlights.
• Review recordings, select strongest moments and cut long‑form audio into vertical clips.
• Add subtitles, captions and ensure correct platform formatting.
• Maintain consistent branding, thumbnails and visual quality.
• Refresh older clips, improve thumbnails and test new formats.
• Support light community engagement when needed.

Required profile

• Strong video editing experience with tools such as CapCut, Canva, Descript or Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Excellent writing ability for captions, hooks and concise summaries.
• Proven experience publishing on TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Facebook and X.
• Organised, reliable and able to meet weekly deadlines.
