SOC Engineer – Security Operations Center

About the role

Yoco is looking for an Intermediate Security Operations Center (SOC) Engineer to strengthen its security monitoring and incident response capabilities. You will work within a fast‑growing security team that protects Yoco’s digital and physical assets, ensuring that threats are detected, responded to, and recovered from promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor and analyze security events across Yoco’s systems, applications, and APIs.
• Develop, tune, and maintain detection rules and security tooling.
• Lead incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and remediation.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to recommend detection strategies and operational controls.
• Identify emerging threats and propose improvements to the SOC processes and infrastructure.

Required profile

• Intermediate experience in security operations, monitoring, or incident response.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to investigate complex security events.
• Effective communication skills to work closely with cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
