SEO Manager – South Africa

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and strategic SEO Manager to lead our organic search efforts. In this role you will develop and execute SEO strategies that boost visibility, drive traffic, and improve search engine rankings across our digital properties.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic traffic.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market trend monitoring.
• Optimize on‑page elements such as titles, meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking structures.
• Monitor website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with content, marketing, and web development teams to align SEO initiatives.
• Track rankings, traffic, and conversions, providing regular performance reports.
• Identify technical SEO issues and coordinate remediation with development teams.
• Stay up‑to‑date with algorithm changes and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SEO or digital marketing.
• Strong understanding of on‑page, off‑page, and technical SEO concepts.
• Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and communicate insights effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
