SEO Expert – Remote Full-time Contractor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SEO Expert to join our fully‑remote international team. In this independent‑contractor position you will own end‑to‑end SEO initiatives, driving organic traffic growth and improving keyword rankings for a portfolio of SaaS, MarTech, FinTech and EdTech clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute SEO strategies to boost organic visibility and traffic.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and identify content gaps.
• Optimize website pages, landing pages and blog posts following on‑page SEO best practices.
• Perform technical SEO audits covering site speed, indexing, crawlability and implement fixes.
• Monitor performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush or similar tools.
• Build and manage link‑building campaigns.
• Collaborate with content writers and developers to implement SEO recommendations.
• Stay current with algorithm updates and industry trends.

Required profile

• 3‑4+ years of hands‑on SEO or digital‑marketing experience.
• Proven record of improving rankings and organic traffic.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written communication and reporting skills.
• Experience working remotely with international teams is a plus.

Required skills

• On‑page, off‑page and technical SEO expertise.
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
