Senior Marketing Manager Marketplace Growth and Demand

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to drive marketplace growth and demand for Ticketmaster South Africa and Quicket. This permanent, hybrid role based in Cape Town will own ticket sales growth through marketing, fan acquisition and marketplace optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Own ticket sales growth driven by marketing, including fan acquisition, conversion, repeat purchase behaviour and marketplace optimisation.
• Optimise customer acquisition cost, channel performance and return on marketing investment.
• Partner closely with Sales to support client acquisition, event supply growth and commercial campaigns.
• Develop and execute B2B marketing initiatives for promoters, venues, festivals, schools, corporates and independent organisers.
• Plan and run campaigns across paid media, CRM, social, content and owned channels for Ticketmaster and Quicket.
• Lead a small marketing team and manage consultants, agencies and external partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B and B2C marketing within marketplace, ecommerce, live events or entertainment.
• Strong track record of driving revenue through marketing metrics such as CAC, LTV, ROI and efficiency.
• Experience partnering with Sales teams to generate leads and support commercial campaigns.
• Data‑driven mindset with expertise in performance marketing, analytics, segmentation and experimentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including copywriting and client‑facing communication.
