Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to support the Internal Audit Manager in providing assurance to the Board, senior management and the Audit Committee. The role ensures that internal controls, risk management processes and corporate governance compliance are effective across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute field work in line with internal audit coverage plans and budget.
• Perform follow‑up testing and drive closure of audit findings with management.
• Conduct control self‑assessment validations.
• Handle ad‑hoc management requests and apply computer‑assisted auditing techniques (CAATs).
• Document financial and operational internal control systems.
• Prepare quality findings, recommendations and draft reports within deadlines.
• Communicate findings to management and ensure formal close‑out.
• Ensure compliance with Tiger Internal Audit Methodology and IIA standards.
• Provide monthly reporting and assist in consolidating audit committee reports and KPI tracking.
• Guide internal auditors in fulfilling their responsibilities and promote productive relationships with management.

Required profile

• Strong technical capability in assessing internal control systems.
• Solid understanding of business processes, risks and best practices.
• High integrity and ethical standards with independent professional judgment.
• Deadline‑driven with a proven ability to meet reporting timelines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in computer‑assisted auditing techniques (CAATs).
• Knowledge of internal audit methodology and Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards.
