Senior Designer (Social)

About the role

Brandtech+ is seeking a Senior Designer (Social) to lead visual storytelling across social platforms for a globally recognised brand. Working remotely from South Africa, you will shape the brand’s daily presence, turning insights and data into culturally resonant content that drives conversation and community.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and execute platform‑native visual campaigns that align with brand strategy and consumer insights.
• Lead the end‑to‑end social creative process, from ideation and design to publishing and live‑ops.
• Collaborate with creative, social, strategy and client brand teams to ensure cohesive storytelling.
• Mentor and guide a team of designers and content creators, championing social‑first design standards.
• Integrate generative AI tools thoughtfully into the creative workflow to enhance efficiency and innovation.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing for social media at a senior level.
• Strong conceptual thinking combined with hands‑on design execution.
• Ability to translate consumer insights and campaign briefs into authentic, inclusive visuals.
• Leadership skills to mentor junior designers and drive a culture of creative excellence.
