Security Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Security Operations Manager to lead security, cleaning and gardening teams across several sites in Johannesburg. The role combines hands‑on security oversight with facilities management, ensuring safety, compliance and high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule security personnel across multiple locations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with company policies, client requirements and PSIRA regulations.
• Oversee CCTV operations and ensure effective surveillance monitoring.
• Manage disciplinary actions, investigations and performance reviews for security staff.
• Coordinate cleaning and gardening crews, maintaining health‑and‑safety standards.
• Develop and nurture relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Prepare operational reports and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Grade B PSIRA registration (essential).
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in the security industry.
• Proven experience in site visits, guard supervision and disciplinary processes.
• Health & Safety certificate (essential); Fire Fighting certificate is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and residence within 25 km of Parktown.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
