About the role

The Foschini Group (TFG) is seeking energetic and customer‑focused individuals for a seasonal sales associate role in the Western Cape. This 120‑hour contract position is designed to support the busy festive period and deliver an outstanding shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring every customer enjoys a memorable visit.
• Meet and exceed sales targets by identifying customer needs and offering appropriate solutions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product ranges, décor, and fashion trends.
• Proactively seek new sales opportunities and upsell where appropriate.
• Replenish merchandise promptly to keep the store ready for shoppers.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a retail environment.
• Matric certificate (advantageous but not mandatory).
• South African citizenship.
• Reliable transport and ability to start immediately.
• Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends.
