About the role
The Multi‑Skilled Agent is a 2‑month fixed‑term role and the first point of contact between Leroy Merlin South Africa and its customers across multiple service channels. You will deliver high‑quality, effortless service by handling queries efficiently and with empathy.
Key responsibilities
- Handle customer interactions across phone, email, social media and live chat.
- Provide accurate information and resolve queries related to orders, deliveries, after‑sales and product support.
- Record, classify and manage all tickets in Zendesk with timely updates.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team while maintaining ownership until resolution.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Supply Chain, Stores and Installations to resolve queries.
- Adapt to new tools, processes and technologies to improve service delivery.
Required profile
- Grade 12 / Matric (or equivalent) required.
- Previous customer service or contact‑center experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Zendesk or other CRM systems is advantageous.
