Remote Customer Service Assistant – Ballito (UK Hours)

About the role

Affiliated Utilities is looking for a motivated Customer Service Assistant to join its Utility Tracker Division. The role is fully remote, preferably based in Ballito, KZN, and supports UK‑based clients during UK business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and respond to client queries via email in a professional and timely manner.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Review client accounts and ensure information accuracy.
• Analyse data and generate reports using internal systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Assist clients in switching to more cost‑effective utility tariffs.
• Maintain clear records of client interactions and account updates.
• Collaborate with management to uphold high service delivery standards.
• Support operational and administrative processes within the division.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Previous experience in customer service, client support, administration or account coordination.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Comfortable working with numbers, reports and account reviews.
• Ability to work UK business hours consistently.
• Fully equipped remote working setup (reliable internet, laptop, backup power preferred).
• Highly organised, self‑disciplined and able to work independently.
• Own reliable transport preferred for occasional in‑person meetings.
