About the role
Affiliated Utilities is looking for a motivated Customer Service Assistant to join its Utility Tracker Division. The role is fully remote, preferably based in Ballito, KZN, and supports UK‑based clients during UK business hours.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and respond to client queries via email in a professional and timely manner.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Review client accounts and ensure information accuracy.
- Analyse data and generate reports using internal systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Assist clients in switching to more cost‑effective utility tariffs.
- Maintain clear records of client interactions and account updates.
- Collaborate with management to uphold high service delivery standards.
- Support operational and administrative processes within the division.
Required profile
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Previous experience in customer service, client support, administration or account coordination.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Comfortable working with numbers, reports and account reviews.
- Ability to work UK business hours consistently.
- Fully equipped remote working setup (reliable internet, laptop, backup power preferred).
- Highly organised, self‑disciplined and able to work independently.
- Own reliable transport preferred for occasional in‑person meetings.
