About the role
We are looking for a clinically strong, dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to provide high‑quality care to critically ill patients in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver specialised nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Continuously monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.
- Operate and monitor advanced ICU equipment safely.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately.
- Maintain precise patient records and clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
- Uphold infection‑prevention standards and patient safety protocols.
- Assist with emergency interventions as needed.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in General Nursing.
- Diploma or Postgraduate Diploma in Critical Care Nursing (essential).
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of 3 years’ ICU nursing experience.
- Strong clinical knowledge and critical‑care skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
Required skills
- Advanced ICU equipment operation.
- Medication administration.
