About the role

Nestlé is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead its KwaZulu‑Natal sales operations. You will be the single point of contact for all sales‑related activities across multiple channels, driving profitable growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Achieve agreed targets for categories and products (NPS, sales out, field funds, bad goods, store evaluations).
  • Develop and execute store spend plans with regional agents for franchise and independent stores, optimizing ROI.
  • Manage dealer loaders, free goods, and ensure promotional compliance with customer grids.
  • Maintain 100% POS compliance and track Nconnect utilisation across the region.
  • Conduct regular trade visits, complete store reports in Nconnect, and ensure proper staffing and call cycles.
  • Drive on‑shelf availability and execute themed promotions, monitoring digital recognition tracking.
  • Oversee speed‑to‑market for new product launches, achieving numeric distribution targets.
  • Lead monthly meetings with regional agents, reps, field marketers, merchandisers, and customer development managers.
  • Provide market insights, competitor activity reports, and price surveys via Nconnect.

Required profile

  • Degree qualification in Sales or Marketing.
  • Minimum 8 years of sales experience, including 3‑5 years in sales management within FMCG.
  • Proven ability to manage a geographic territory and deliver growth targets.
