QA/QC Supervisor – Mining Project

About the role

The QA/QC Supervisor will lead quality assurance and control activities for a world‑class palladium‑rhodium‑nickel‑copper‑gold underground mining project in Limpopo Province. The role ensures that all construction and mining works meet the required standards, specifications and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for all work activities.
• Establish quality control procedures and hold points across multiple contractors.
• Conduct inspections at defined construction stages and verify compliance before progression.
• Identify, record and manage non‑conformances (NCRs), drive root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and training to contractors on quality standards and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and support internal and external audits.
• Collaborate closely with civil, building and electrical supervisors to integrate quality requirements into daily execution.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Construction or a related field.
• 8–10 years of QA/QC experience in mining, construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in multi‑contractor environments.
• Strong knowledge of relevant standards and specifications.
