Municipal Performance Management Manager

About the role

The Gamagara Local Municipality is seeking a qualified Manager to lead its Performance Management function within the Municipal Manager’s Office. The role is based at the Kathu Main Municipal Building and is responsible for driving organisational performance in line with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regulatory and organisational performance management processes.
• Develop and implement the Integrated Development Plan (IDP) and related scorecards.
• Prepare and submit quarterly and mid‑year performance assessment reports.
• Oversee quality review, verification and reporting of performance information.
• Coordinate liaison with the Office of the Auditor General and Internal Audit Department.

Required profile

• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience with proven managerial experience.
• Code B driver’s licence.
• Experience in organisational performance management; auditing experience is advantageous.
