Mobile .NET / MAUI Software Engineer

About the role

The Software Engineer (Mobile .NET / MAUI) will design, develop, enhance, maintain and support ODIN Checkpoint’s mobile applications for Android and iOS. Working within a Microsoft/.NET ecosystem, the role focuses on delivering reliable, high‑performance mobile solutions that operate in demanding industrial environments with offline capability and robust synchronization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new features for the mobile app using .NET MAUI and C# for both Android and iOS.
• Contribute to mobile architecture, ensuring code quality, reusability and long‑term scalability.
• Develop and improve offline‑first behavior, local data storage, background sync and conflict resolution.
• Integrate the app with backend APIs, authentication services, cloud services, file/media handling and push notifications.
• Investigate and resolve bugs, crashes, performance bottlenecks and production incidents.
• Collaborate closely with product, QA, web and backend teams to deliver secure and maintainable solutions.

Required profile

• Formal tertiary education (Grade 12 diploma or degree) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• 3–7+ years of software development experience, with strong practical experience in mobile application development.
• Proficiency in English.
• Valid Code 8 driver’s licence (minimum).
