MinePlan Engineer I – Technical Support

About the role

Hexagon Autonomous Solutions is looking for a MinePlan Engineer I to provide high‑level technical support for Hexagon Mining’s MineSight software at customer sites. You will ensure the software operates effectively, delivering safety, productivity and efficiency improvements to mining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver masterful troubleshooting and timely solutions for MineSight issues worldwide.
• Adhere to support schedules and on‑call duties to minimise client downtime.
• Collaborate with the technical support team and act as the primary customer contact for enhancements.
• Document defects and enhancement requests for the Product Development team.
• Create FAQs, self‑service videos and provide client training as needed.
• Inform the sales team of potential issues and new service opportunities.
• Maintain case documentation and comply with health & safety policies.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Technical expertise with mine planning tools, especially MineSight.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution.
• Willingness to participate in after‑hours on‑call support.
