Mid-Level Graphic Designer – Packaging (Disney)

About the role

SMD Technologies is seeking a mid‑level Graphic Designer to lead packaging design for consumer electronics and lifestyle brands, including Disney‑related projects. You will translate briefs into print‑ready artwork while ensuring brand consistency and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design retail packaging across multiple product categories and brands.
• Apply brand guidelines accurately to all packaging layouts.
• Prepare print‑ready files with correct dielines, bleeds, CMYK conversion and image retouching.
• Quality‑check product imagery from local and international suppliers.
• Verify specifications, warnings, barcodes and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Traffic, Marketing and Quality Control teams.
• Manage several packaging projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining high design and technical standards.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in packaging design, preferably retail or FMCG.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality‑control mindset.
• Ability to work methodically under pressure and handle multiple SKUs/projects.
• Comfortable in a structured, process‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills and openness to constructive feedback.
