Medical Practice Manager

About the role

Faircape Health Institute is seeking an organised, skilled and dynamic Medical Practice Manager to oversee medical operations at its Tokai Estate site and the Heritage Manor facility in Somerset West. The role supports a team of approximately 12 medical practitioners and ensures efficient, patient‑focused service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the medical practice across both locations.
• Coordinate shift rotations, on‑call schedules and time‑off requests for medical officers, balancing preferences, contracts and service coverage.
• Oversee accurate billing processes and ensure compliance with financial and regulatory standards.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among doctors, nurses, therapists and allied health professionals.
• Support continuous staff development and uphold the highest standards of patient care.

Required profile

• Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to coordinate a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in medical practice or healthcare operations management.
• Commitment to data‑driven, evidence‑based healthcare delivery.
