About the role
We are seeking a motivated, customer‑focused Medical Aid Sales Consultant to promote Bestmed as the preferred scheme for prospective members in Pretoria. The successful candidate will assess client needs, present suitable medical scheme options and guide members through the registration process while ensuring compliance and fair treatment.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit new members to Bestmed.
- Assist prospective members in joining the scheme.
- Conduct suitability and needs analyses for each prospect.
- Determine affordability and discuss underwriting requirements.
- Provide clear guidance on registration processes and requirements.
- Maintain adherence to FAIS compliance and regulatory standards.
Required profile
- Grade 12 with Mathematics (E or higher) or Maths Literacy (C or higher).
- FAIS Regulatory Exam 5 for Representatives (to be obtained within 24 months of appointment).
- Tertiary qualification such as a National Diploma or Degree.
- Minimum three years’ experience in a sales position.
