Mechanical Engineer – Remote

About the role

This contract position seeks a Mechanical Engineering Subject Matter Expert to support the evaluation and improvement of AI‑generated technical content. Working remotely, you will apply deep mechanical engineering knowledge to ensure accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance of model outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and solve advanced mechanical engineering problems across multiple disciplines.
• Review AI‑generated technical documentation for technical correctness and completeness.
• Provide practical engineering judgment for real‑world design and analysis scenarios.
• Deliver constructive feedback to enhance AI model outputs.
• Assess proposed solutions for manufacturability and standards compliance.
• Document detailed explanations and rationales for engineering decisions.

Required profile

• MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, or a BS with substantial related industry experience.
• Proven experience delivering mechanical products or systems to production.
• Demonstrated professional proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
