Marketing Executive

About the role

The Marketing Executive will help raise the profile of Hyde’s first African lifestyle hotel, driving brand awareness, lead generation and sales through integrated marketing activities. You will work closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure all campaigns reflect the hotel’s unique festival‑inspired identity.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing multi‑channel marketing campaigns (digital, social media, email, print).
• Conduct market research to uncover trends and insights that shape strategy.
• Create and curate engaging content for social posts, blogs, newsletters and promotional materials.
• Manage social media accounts, post content and engage with followers.
• Monitor campaign performance, generate reports and recommend improvements.
• Support the organisation of events, promotions and trade shows.
• Collaborate with the design team to produce visually appealing assets.
• Maintain an organised database of marketing collateral.
• Act as guardian of the Hyde brand, ensuring consistent guest‑journey touchpoints.
• Execute brand activations, PR, digital marketing and programming events, especially around the hotel launch.
• Serve as the local brand ambassador, liaising with digital/PR agencies and delivering measurable results.
• Capture and post social media content, manage community interactions and support photo‑shoots for seasonal campaigns.

Required profile

• Passion for hospitality branding and storytelling.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
