Local Finance Director

About the role

We are looking for a Local Finance Director to lead the finance, controlling, accounting, commercial order processing and procurement functions for our Service Functions in the region. The role is responsible for delivering local services, managing budgets and ensuring compliance with global and regional policies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee local service delivery and achieve budget targets for Finance, Controlling, Commercial Order Processing and Procurement.
• Implement and communicate global and regional accounting, service, IT‑tool and procurement policies.
• Steer, monitor and manage P&L, balance sheets, cash flows and produce timely corporate reports.
• Conduct monthly KPI reviews in line with Global Office guidelines.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (local GAAP and IFRS) and tax declarations.
• Coordinate project budget and cost controlling with Business Operations and the Regional Finance Director.
• Develop operational control processes, structures and systems according to global guidelines.
• Maintain relationships with banks, government bodies, auditors and other financial stakeholders.
• Set up the local finance organisation according to global standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of professional experience in finance, controlling or related areas.
• At least 2 years of experience working with intercultural teams (when located outside Germany).
• Good knowledge of English (minimum B1).
• Proven ability to manage P&L, cash flow and financial reporting.
