Key Account Manager – Logistics & Cold Chain

About the role

The company, a respected and growing player in temperature‑controlled logistics and supply chain, is seeking a relationship‑focused Key Account Manager to be based in Cape Town or Johannesburg. This role is centred on nurturing long‑term partnerships with strategic clients, ensuring the business remains the preferred provider during peak operational periods.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and deepen relationships with a portfolio of strategic accounts.
• Act as the primary point of contact, providing regular updates and proactive support.
• Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to align service delivery with client needs, especially during seasonal peaks.
• Identify opportunities for account growth and cross‑selling within existing relationships.
• Monitor client satisfaction and address issues promptly to uphold trust and reliability.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in key account management or client relationship management.
• Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain operations and cold‑chain requirements.
• Proven track record of managing and expanding established customer relationships.
