About the role

Tanchi Consulting is seeking a Junior Tax Consultant to join its Johannesburg office. This full‑time, on‑site position supports a diverse portfolio of innovative entrepreneurs by delivering tax planning, compliance, and advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax planning advice tailored to client business needs.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance and filing of returns.
• Assist clients during tax audits and help resolve audit queries.
• Interpret and apply relevant tax legislation to client situations.
• Collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized financial and tax solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in tax planning, compliance, and preparation.
• Ability to support tax audits and apply tax law effectively.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., SAIT) are a plus.
