Junior Digital Designer

About the role

We are looking for a creative Junior Digital Designer to join the ShopriteX Studio team in Cape Town. The role focuses on producing modern visual assets for the Shoprite Group’s omnichannel campaigns and internal media.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the creative team to develop design concepts that align with brand identity.
• Create high-quality graphics, illustrations and UI elements for the Sixty60 app, marketing materials, sales decks, direct communications and social media.
• Stay up-to-date with design trends, digital best practices and industry standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to brainstorming sessions.

Required profile

• 1–2+ years of professional digital design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch or Figma.
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and ability to translate them into compelling visuals.
• Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and a willingness to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of After Effects or animation is a plus.
