Junior Automation Support Specialist (Blue Prism) – 6 months contract

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Automation Support Specialist with strong hands‑on experience in Blue Prism to provide proactive and reactive end‑to‑end support for enterprise automation solutions on a 6‑month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, monitor, maintain, upgrade and retire Blue Prism bots and automation workflows.
• Monitor health, performance, queues and schedules of automated processes.
• Investigate and resolve automation failures, incidents and production issues.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventative measures.
• Support system patches, version upgrades and automation enhancements.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, QA and business teams to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with governance, risk and security standards.
• Maintain technical documentation, incident logs and support records.
• Identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency gains.
• Troubleshoot integrations involving APIs, databases and connected systems.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in RPA/Automation support or similar technical support role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Blue Prism in production environments.
• Experience with incident, problem management and root‑cause analysis.
• Understanding of automation lifecycle support and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases and system integrations.
• Experience with Windows Server, virtual machines and infrastructure support.
• Exposure to enterprise governance, risk and compliance processes.
