IT Operations Support Intern

About the role

The IT Operations Support Intern will assist the IT Operations team in maintaining the company’s technology infrastructure. This role offers hands‑on exposure to hardware, software, networking, and basic cybersecurity practices while providing first‑line support to end users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support to users and resolve basic issues.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Monitor system performance and report operational incidents.
• Support network and system troubleshooting activities.
• Help maintain IT documentation, inventory records, and asset logs.
• Participate in system upgrades, backups, and security checks.
• Escalate unresolved technical problems to senior IT staff.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and clear communication skills.
• Willingness to learn in a fast‑paced IT environment.
