IT Asset Management Coordinator

About the role

The IT Asset Management Coordinator will ensure that all hardware and software assets are accurately tracked, maintained and reported. This role is critical for operational stability, preventing loss of equipment, missed warranties and mismatched inventory figures.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update asset tracking systems with real‑time data on laptops, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
• Reconcile asset inventories, investigate discrepancies and produce regular compliance reports.
• Monitor warranty expirations and coordinate renewals or replacements.
• Provide accurate asset information to support teams and senior management.
• Ensure that all asset movements are documented and that the asset register remains reliable under high‑volume conditions.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in IT Asset Management.
• Proven experience with asset tracking tools and systems.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for on‑site visits.
• High level of accuracy, accountability and the ability to maintain order in a fast‑moving environment.
• IT qualification and exposure to ITIL or structured IT environments is a plus.
