Intermediate QA Tester – Mobile & API

About the role

We are looking for an Intermediate QA Tester to join our technology team in Kempton Park. The role focuses on testing mobile applications and API integrations for business‑critical systems, ensuring high‑quality digital experiences for our users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prepare and execute detailed test cases and scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration and system testing.
• Test mobile applications across various devices and operating systems.
• Conduct API testing, validating requests, responses, data and integrations.
• Identify, document, track and retest software defects.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and product teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Support production releases and perform post‑release validation.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (advantageous).
• ISTQB certification (advantageous).
• 3–5 years of software testing experience, including mobile and API testing.
• Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON and Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
