Intermediate Front-End / Full Stack Developer (Vue.js/.NET)

About the role

We are seeking an intermediate Front‑End / Full Stack Developer to join a global investment advisory firm in Cape Town. You will work in a hybrid environment, creating modern, responsive user interfaces and collaborating with back‑end engineers to deliver high‑quality financial applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop intuitive, accessible UI components using Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS/LESS.
• Integrate front‑end applications with .NET Core RESTful APIs and optimise data flow.
• Collaborate with design teams (e.g., Figma, Sketch) to translate business requirements into polished user experiences.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure front‑end standards, and contribute to automated testing with Jest and Cypress.
• Communicate progress, identify risks, and manage dependencies across back‑end, QA and product teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 + years of software development experience, primarily front‑end focused.
• Strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably Vue.js, and responsive design.
• Deep understanding of component‑based architecture, state management (Pinia) and routing.
• Experience delivering front‑end features end‑to‑end, from requirements through deployment, with performance optimisation.
• Excellent problem‑solving, ownership and communication skills; finance or investment domain experience is a plus.
