Interior Designer – Luxury Hospitality & Residential Projects

About the role

An internationally recognised design studio specialising in luxury hospitality and multi‑unit residential developments is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join its Johannesburg team. The role offers exposure to high‑profile projects across the Middle East and Africa, with mentorship from senior designers and a clear pathway for career growth.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development and preparation of client presentations and design documentation.
• Produce detailed plans, elevations, and technical drawings using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Prepare high‑quality presentation layouts and design packages using PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Create and enhance presentation imagery, renders, and visual material using Photoshop.
• Research and source reference imagery, finishes, materials and design inspiration.
• Support FF&E research, product sourcing and specification activities.
• Collaborate with senior designers on concept development, project coordination and design implementation.
• Contribute to the design of secondary spaces such as lobbies, kids’ clubs, fitness facilities, bathrooms, lounges and other amenity areas.
• Maintain organised project files, documentation and presentation material.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of professional interior design experience.
• Strong attention to detail, spatial awareness and understanding of materials and finishes.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
