Head of Data and Analytics

About the role

The Head of Data & Analytics will define, govern, and execute Unitrans' enterprise data strategy. This senior position ensures that organisational data is trusted, secure, and strategically leveraged to drive operational excellence, informed decision‑making, and AI‑enabled initiatives across all business units.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive enterprise data strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Own data governance, data quality, metadata management, and data platform stewardship.
• Ensure data assets are reliable, compliant, and fit for purpose.
• Enable analytics and artificial intelligence initiatives by providing robust data foundations.
• Collaborate with business units to translate data insights into actionable outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement in data processes, forecasting, automation, and innovation.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading data and analytics functions at an enterprise level.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and metadata management.
• Ability to align data initiatives with strategic business goals.
• Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders across the organisation.
