Group Designer (Graphic & Multimedia)

About the role

The Group Designer (Graphic & Multimedia) will lead the creative vision for Lesaka Group’s shared services, producing visual communications across digital, print, video and motion‑graphics channels. Working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, Group Brand Manager and Internal Communications Manager, you will ensure every piece of creative aligns with the new ‘one’ Lesaka brand identity.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and execute visual designs for integrated campaigns, including digital, social, print, multimedia, mailers and digital magazines.
• Translate marketing and business objectives into compelling visual storytelling while upholding and evolving the Lesaka brand across all touchpoints.
• Design and produce multimedia content such as video edits, animations, motion graphics, testimonial videos and interactive assets.
• Create engaging presentations, infographics and support strategic initiatives with branded visual material.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, presenting concepts to stakeholders and ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain brand and quality control, guaranteeing all output follows corporate identity guidelines and reflects Lesaka’s tone.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design or a related field (NQF Level 5 or 6).
• Minimum 5 years of professional graphic design experience with a strong portfolio covering print, digital, video, animation and motion graphics.
• Experience working on rebrand projects and collaborating with senior marketing stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro.
• Ability to build design templates in Canva.
• Strong multimedia and motion‑graphics design capabilities.
• Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
• Competence with Microsoft PowerPoint for branded presentations.
