Full Stack JavaScript Developer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack JavaScript Developer to join our team at the Cape Town office. This on‑site position involves working across the entire technology stack to build, maintain, and enhance applications, APIs, and integrations that support our telecom and VoIP platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full‑stack JavaScript applications using Sails.js or Express.js.
• Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases, including JSON/JSONB data structures.
• Create responsive front‑end interfaces with AngularJS (1.x) and Angular Material Design.
• Implement real‑time features using WebSockets.
• Integrate applications with telecom systems such as Asterisk and FreePBX.
• Troubleshoot issues across application code, databases, Linux servers, and VoIP components.
• Collaborate with technical and product teams using Git and Docker for version control and deployment.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of experience in full‑stack JavaScript development.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and ability to work with both legacy and new systems.
• Comfortable learning unfamiliar technologies quickly.
