Full Stack Developer (JavaScript/TypeScript & MS SQL)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer for a 12‑month remote contract to join our engineering team. You will develop and maintain scalable web applications that support our retail and e‑commerce operations, using a modern stack focused on JavaScript/TypeScript for the frontend and Microsoft SQL Server for backend data management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React, Angular or Vue.js.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex database objects, schemas, stored procedures, and queries in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs to connect frontend with backend services and external systems.
• Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and follow secure coding best practices.
• Collaborate within a cross‑functional Scrum/Kanban team with product managers, designers, and engineers.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support applications in production environments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert‑level proficiency in JavaScript and substantial commercial experience with TypeScript.
• 2‑5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including complex queries and performance tuning.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
