Financial Assistant

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking a Financial Assistant to support its accounting and reporting functions. The role involves processing supplier invoices, ensuring accurate documentation, and assisting with month‑end financial activities within a global industrial automation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process foreign and local supplier invoices, matching them with Goods Received Notes and Delivery Notes.
• Verify documentation according to Yokogawa accounting procedures and JSOX requirements.
• Investigate and resolve deviations on orders, goods receipts, delivery notes, or invoices.
• Enter authorized invoices into the ERP general ledger after transfer from the procurement system.
• Prepare monthly SG&A analysis reports, management accounts, and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Perform creditor reconciliations, age analysis, and month‑end account reconciliations.
• Identify accruals for management accounting and update creditor records monthly.
• Assist the senior finance manager with cash‑flow forecasting related to accounts payable.
• Create journal entries, process accounts payable, and conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
• File documentation in accordance with accounting and quality‑management procedures.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow accounting and compliance procedures.
• Experience with supplier invoice processing and month‑end closing activities.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement integration.
• Good analytical skills for reporting, reconciliations, and cash‑flow support.
