Financial Adviser – Mbombela (Nelspruit)

About the role

The Financial Adviser will provide new and existing clients with professional, compliant financial advice, planning and product solutions tailored to their needs. The role focuses on building long‑term relationships, generating sustainable business and supporting the growth of the Sanlam brand in the Mbombela market.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver financial advice, conduct needs analysis and present suitable solutions while ensuring all disclosures and compliance requirements are met.
• Grow the adviser business by meeting revenue targets, activity quotas and promoting the Sanlam brand.
• Network, prospect and generate leads through face‑to‑face interactions, social media and existing client bases.
• Maintain and service client relationships, providing ongoing support and annual portfolio reviews.
• Document client interactions, update records and report on contacts, appointments and business generated.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 and successful completion of the FAIS “Fit and Proper” regulatory examination.
• At least 24 months registration with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).
• Knowledge of financial advice, planning, compliance, risk management and client relationship management.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and persuasive abilities.
