Finance Manager

About the role

As Finance Manager you will be a key partner in supporting Sporty’s global B2B growth ambitions. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will own and develop the finance function for your remit, ensuring robust processes, controls and scalable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end finance function, delivering accurate, efficient and scalable finance operations.
• Design, implement and continuously improve financial processes, systems and internal controls.
• Act as a trusted finance partner to operational leaders, embedding finance into daily decision‑making and long‑term planning.
• Create and maintain budgets, forecasts and financial plans, including P&L, cash‑flow and working‑capital projections.
• Analyse financial and operational performance, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and provide clear insights to senior stakeholders.
• Support market expansion and commercial initiatives with financial analysis, planning and controls.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisors, payroll providers and other external partners.
• Ensure compliance with local audit, legal, tax, regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Deliver timely, decision‑focused financial reporting and review operating costs for efficiency gains.
