About the Position

Our client, a prominent player in the Retail and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, is seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Accountant to join their dynamic team in Nelspruit. This is a pivotal role designed for a finance professional who thrives in high-volume environments and possesses a keen eye for detail.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily financial transactions and accounting operations.
• Ensure high levels of accuracy when processing and reconciling large-scale financial amounts.
• Maintain precise financial records in compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Support the finance department in reporting and month-end closing processes.
• Contribute to the overall financial health and integrity of the retail operations.

Candidate Profile

• Proven track record with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a dedicated financial role.
• Academic background: BCom in Accounting or a similar tertiary qualification is mandatory.
• Exceptional precision and ability to handle significant financial volumes without error.
• Strong communication skills with full professional proficiency in both English and Afrikaans.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle for commuting.
