Digital Marketing Specialist – Cape Town

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Digital Marketing Specialist to lead and grow the online presence of several internal brands within a fast‑paced retail and e‑commerce environment. The role blends strategic planning with hands‑on execution to drive engagement, traffic and sales across all digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day digital marketing activities for multiple brands.
• Plan, create, schedule and oversee social media content across all platforms.
• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, newsletters and automated customer journeys.
• Produce and coordinate digital assets and design elements for campaigns.
• Run paid media campaigns on Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok and other networks.
• Support SEO initiatives, including keyword research, on‑page optimisation and content recommendations.
• Monitor, analyse and optimise campaign performance using data insights.
• Track KPIs and prepare performance reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging across all digital touchpoints.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align campaigns with business objectives and promotions.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in digital marketing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple brands or accounts simultaneously.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills with the capacity to work independently.
• Experience in retail, e‑commerce, consumer tech or gaming environments is advantageous.
