Desktop Support Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician to deliver hands‑on and remote IT support across multiple office locations in the Western Cape. You will work closely with business users, ensuring that desktop systems, collaboration tools and mobile technologies remain available and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve first‑line incidents for Windows and macOS desktops.
• Manage service requests, troubleshoot recurring issues and provide user guidance.
• Support collaboration platforms, conferencing tools and mobile devices.
• Contribute to operational reporting and maintain documentation.
• Occasionally travel to office sites and work extra hours when required to meet operational needs.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of practical IT support experience.
• 3‑year ICT qualification or equivalent.
• Industry‑recognised certifications such as A+, N+, Microsoft certifications or MCITP.
• Ability to work under pressure, communicate clearly and build positive relationships with users.
