Customer Service Specialist – Durban

About the role

The Customer Service Specialist will handle customer complaints via phone and email, process local orders and coordinate with transporters to ensure timely deliveries. This role supports the sales and logistics functions by maintaining accurate documentation and providing excellent service to allocated customers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare invoices, credit notes and other documentation for products supplied to customers.
• Make delivery arrangements and liaise with external transporters.
• Update price lists and arrange sample dispatches for assigned customers.
• Monitor consumption patterns and prepare quotations for allocated accounts.
• Assist with periodic stock takes and inventory verification.
• Book external transporters and coordinate logistics when the team leader is absent.

Required profile

• Matric (Matriculation) education.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar customer service or order‑processing role.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
