Client Relationship Consultant – Carletonville

About the role

Old Mutual is looking for a Client Relationship Consultant to join its Carletonville team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering a positive experience while supporting sales and service processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate product and service information to customers.
• Record and process customer orders, selecting the most appropriate approach.
• Handle basic and advanced customer issues, including returns, exchanges, and complaints, and escalate when necessary.
• Make outbound calls to prospective customers, develop relationships, and generate new business.
• Enter all customer interactions into the CRM system to maintain high‑quality data.
• Interview customers using a multilevel sales script to clarify requirements.
• Support renewals by delivering exceptional service that encourages continued use of Old Mutual’s offerings.
• Follow organisational policies, regulatory codes, and mandatory procedures to ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum education: NQF Level 4 – Grade 12, School Leaving Certificate, National or Occupational Certificate, or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Commitment to continuous learning and personal capability building.
