Chemistry & Python Expert – Freelance AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a Chemistry and Python specialist to join our AI testing platform on a freelance, project‑based basis. You will design and validate computational chemistry problems that are used to evaluate and improve AI systems for leading tech companies.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational chemistry problems that mimic real research workflows.
• Create Python‑based tasks (using NumPy, SciPy, and domain‑specific chemical libraries) that require non‑trivial reasoning.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
• Base tasks on real research challenges or practical chemistry applications.
• Verify solutions using Python and standard computational chemistry methods.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles.
• Strong written English (C1+).
• Experience with numerical methods and computational chemistry concepts.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• NumPy, SciPy, Pandas.
• MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Stata (or equivalent).
• Domain‑specific chemical libraries (e.g., RDKit, Open Babel).

What we offer
