C# Software Developer – .NET & AngularJS (Remote)

About the role

DotActiv is looking for a skilled C# Software Developer to join its remote team in South Africa. You will work on category‑management solutions that combine ASP.NET Core Web API, AngularJS, and Xamarin to deliver high‑performance retail applications.

Key responsibilities

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional, high‑quality code.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable C# components.
• Ensure optimal performance, responsiveness, and reliability of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, propose and implement fixes.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation through CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Grade 12 with higher‑grade Mathematics (minimum 70%).
• Relevant IT certification (e.g., A+, MCSE, MCP, VCP, etc.).

Required skills

• C# and .NET Core
• ASP.NET Core Web API
• AngularJS (single‑page applications)
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Xamarin for mobile development
• Git version control
• Continuous integration / automated testing
• JSON handling

What we offer

• Cost‑to‑Company between R30 000 and R35 000 per month, based on experience.
