Business Management Consultant – Advisor Support

About the role

As a Business Management Consultant you will be the primary relationship holder for Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), providing product training and handling their queries across investments, insurance and other FirstRand offerings. You will work within a collaborative, agile environment that encourages curiosity and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver product training and field most IFA queries using deep knowledge of investments, insurance and FirstRand products.
• Keep IFAs informed of the latest product, policy enhancements and offerings.
• Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities.
• Provide exceptional service and innovative solutions to exceed IFA expectations.
• Assist IFAs in expanding their value proposition and growing their business.
• Render administrative support, including processing requests and quotations for timely turnaround.
• Facilitate interaction between IFAs and Product Specialists on technical requests.
• Monitor competitor products, services and industry trends.

Required profile

• Matric qualification; NQF5 or RE5 advantageous.
• 3‑5 years broker consulting experience within the IFA and investments space.
• At least 3 years experience in life assurance.
• Relevant class‑of‑business training and experience with group risk, individual life and investment products.
• Strong sales affinity, client‑centric mindset and high attention to detail.
• Curious, innovative, willing to learn and travel locally.
