Business Intelligence Developer

About the role

Our client is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimise modern data platforms that deliver business‑critical insights. This hands‑on, high‑impact position focuses on creating scalable data pipelines, integrating diverse data sources, and supporting advanced analytics with Power BI and Tableau.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and SQL, integrating data from multiple sources and monitoring performance.
• Build and manage data warehouses and models (star schema, relational) on Azure Synapse, Data Lake and Azure SQL, ensuring data quality, governance and security.
• Support BI teams by providing clean, structured data for reporting in Power BI and Tableau, translating business requirements into scalable solutions.

Required profile

• 4–7+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence or data warehousing, preferably within the Azure ecosystem.
• Strong analytical thinker who can solve complex problems and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, ownership mindset and a commitment to continuous learning.
